Nel 1985 Alessandro Serri e Edmondo Romano fondano gli Eris Pluvia, una fusione tra suoni antichi e moderni.
Nel 1991 danno vita ed arrangiano le loro composizioni nel lavoro discografico “Rings of earthly light” uno dei più apprezzati album del progressive rock internazionale di quegli anni.
Alessandro e Edmondo nel 1992 lasciano la band e insieme a Fabio Serri creano il progetto ‘Ancient Veil’ e nel 1995 pubblicano l'omonimo CD. “I am changing” è il nuovo capitolo di questo particolare suono.

Il ritorno dei fondatori degli Eris Pluvia con un nuovo album ricco di numerose sonorità, grazie anche al contributo di diversi preziosissimi ospiti. Il discorso viene ripreso, anche se a distanza di diversi anni, da «Rings of earthly light», ripercorrendo anche il sentiero tracciato con «The ancient veil».
Nell’album sono presenti molti musicisti che hanno preso parte al CD del 1991, lavoro guidato, composto e prodotto quasi interamente da Serri e Romano. « I am changing » è quindi il naturale seguito di quelle sonorità.
I brani sono sia strumentali che cantati ed anche se le tracce sono create per essere autonome, rispettano nelle citazioni e negli arrangiamenti la struttura del Concept album. Sono presenti al suo interno mini suite, canzoni e molte parti orchestrali grazie all’utilizzo di archi, oboe, flauti, clarinetti…
Varie sono le tematiche affrontate in questo nuovo lavoro.
Nasce tutto dall'alba luminosa d'autunno di «Bright autumn dawn» per passare poi alla tristezza di un amore perduto in «If I only knew ». La title track «I am changing» racconta la trasformazione del cambiamento e «The fly» è un viaggio alla scoperta di se stessi.
Il brano «Chime of the times» è particolare all’interno dell’album perchè originariamente presente nel primo demotape degli Eris Pluvia del 1990.
I dipinti presenti nel CD sono di Francesca Ghizzardi.
Dopo diversi anni di assenza gli Ancient Veil torneranno ad esibirsi dal vivo per presentare questo ultimo lavoro e ripercorrere le tappe più importanti della loro carriera dal 1990 ad oggi.

Back in 1985 Alessandro Serri and Edmondo Romano founded Eris Pluvia, a concept of fusion between ancient and modern sounds.
In 1991 they gave birth and arranged their own compositionsof the discographic work “Rings of earthly light”
one of the most appreciated albums of international progressive rock of those years.
Alessandro and Edmondo in 1992 left the band and together with Fabio Serri created the project ‘Ancient Veil’ and in 1995 they published the homonimous CD.
“I am changing” is the new chapter of this particular sound.

The return of the founders of Eris Pluvia with a new album full of many sounds, thanks to the contribution of different precious guests. The speech is resumed, although at a distance of several years, from "Rings of earthly light", even retracing the path traced by "The ancient veil '.
In the album there are many musicians who took part in the 1991 CD, the work guided, composed and produced almost entirely by Serri and Romano. "I am changing" is therefore the natural result of those sounds.
The songs are both instrumental and sung, and although the tracks are created to be independent, respect in quotes and arrangements the structure of Concept album. It is present inside mini suites, songs and many orchestral parts through the use of strings, oboes, flutes, clarinets ...
There are various issues addressed in this new work.
Everything begins from 'Bright autumn dawn " then move on to the sadness of lost love in" If only I Knew" The title track, "I am changing" recounts the transformation of change and “The fly” is a journey of self-discovery.
The song "Chime of the times" is particularly within the album , because was originally present in the first demo tape of Eris Pluvia in 1990.
The paintings on the CD are by Francesca Ghizzardi.
After several years of absence, the Ancient Veil will return to perform live to present this latest work and retrace the most important stages of their careers since 1990.
